I never had Thai food before but I can now check that off my list. I ordered this to go and I was certainly pleased with my entire order. We had the Satay Kai, Drunken Noodles, Racha Pad Thai, and Kao Pad Kapau. The food was hot and I loved that I could pick my spice levels. My daughter who is super picky enjoyed the Kao Pad Kapau. I enjoyed the pad Thai and my husband enjoyed the drunken noodles. Needless to say there was nothing we could complain about, nothing left over, and would visit again.
Came for dinner with friends. Loved the decor and the quietness. I got the shrimp eggplant dish at a level 3 heat, which was the perfect amount of kick!! I wish there was more of the broth it was yummy and I poured it over my fried rice. I also tasted my friends pumpkin curry dish which was great also. Can't wait to go back and try different dishes.
Love the flavor of the food with everything we order. I especially like the spices and my husband and I normally agree on this restaurant compared to others. I normally order chicken satay, pad Thai, pad see eww and the coconut dessert. The coconut desserts come in little ceramic platters. They were delicious just small portions. Will come back for sure.
Really really delicious food! We had the green tofu curry, massaman curry with chicken, tofu fresh rolls and chicken wings and each dish was so flavorful, full of fresh ingredients and the spring rolls were particularly perfect in taste and texture. Overall the service was wonderful, atmosphere welcoming and food amazing. I can't wait to visit again soon.
This is my go to Thai restaurant in Chesapeake! Discovered this spot during the beginning of the pandemic. They're located in a shopping center across Chesapeake Regional off Battlefield. I've only visited during lunch hours and it wasn't too bad in there. We're always immediately seated. The food here is always delicious, good portions & inexpensive!
Racha has become my new spot this winter. I'm obsessed with their tom kha jay soup, but also enjoy the tom yum jay (both vegan) and fresh rolls with peanut sauce. this may not be true for busier meal times like evenings and weekends. Also a decently intimate place to meet a friend and eat a delicious meal.
This restaurant is conveniently located a couple of doors down from Once upon a Child and is behind Arby's restaurant. After shopping my daughter was hungry, we decided to stop in and get fried rice to go. I'm so glad we did, the restaurant was very clean and only had one table of customers. Hand sanitizer is provided upon entry and staff are wearing masks. Staff was very friendly, the restaurant had a very welcoming vibe.
Always going here, food has always been fresh, very hot and seasoned as requested which I have come to learn to request 1 lower lower than normal when dealing with Thai spices, I should have stayed with the level 2 spice, although the waitress did offer to redo it for me , I survived just drank a little extra water
